“I grew up in a family of truck drivers,” says owner, Wendy Cosman-Parlee. “My dad ‘Bunker Jim’, brother Jamie and sister Tammy drove transport trucks for many years. I figured it was easier to letter trucks rather than drive one.”

Upon graduating from NBCC in 1985 with a diploma in Communication Arts/Graphic Design, I was immediately hired as a designer and painter at Dobbelsteyn Signs in Fredericton, NB. I acquired the skill of hand lettering under the watchful eyes of three professional sign painters. In 1987, I started my own sign business out of my parents’ garage. I received the Women in Business Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2011. After 37 years and counting, I continue to meet the needs of my clientele which includes several trucking companies and local retail businesses.
During her career Wendy has been a part of creating everything from school sensory hallways and drama backdrops & props, to painting a section of a large wall mural in Shipshewana, Indiana, as an International Walldog. She has also had the pleasure of collaborating with world famous SABIAN Cymbals for musicians such as Neil Peart from Rush.
